Due to Theo’s athletic background in rugby, he has a particular interest in treating conditions to allow his clients to pursue their preferred sport and activities.
There is a large spectrum of sporting injuries, each sport having its own unique vulnerabilities.
“I find it intrinsically satisfying to help people return to the activities that bring them joy.”
Aside from sports injuries, Theo excels in helping people who struggle with neck, shoulder and back pain. This can happen as a result of too many hours at the desk. Hong Kong’s diligent work-culture is an environment ripe for achy joints, and osteopathy is excellent at helping people deal with these issues.
Theo completed his Master’s degree in Osteopathic studies at the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone, England.
On graduating he was awarded an M.Ost in Osteopathy, and is a member of the Hong Kong Osteopathic Association.
What inspired you to practice osteopathy?
I have always loved sports and being active. Naturally, the ability to do the sports and activities that I enjoy pain-free and without limitation has always been of significant value to me.
When I sustained multiple injuries during my rugby days it caused great frustration that ultimately fueled my drive to fix the stubborn pain that had been plaguing me for years.
Understanding the burden that pain can have on one’s life led to my decision to dedicate my career toward helping those with similar issues. Whether it is hiking, biking or playing with kids, I feel that each individual deserves the guidance and knowledge to help them recover from the pain holding them back from the activities they wish to pursue.
Theo offers sessions online or in person.
