Vitamin D deficiencies are very common, and influence everything from mood to physical resilience.
IGF-1 is a hormone found naturally in your blood. Its main job is to manage the effects of growth hormone (GH) in your body. Normal IGF-1 and GH functions include tissue and bone growth. This test gives an insight into cell growth and survival, maturation and proliferation, allowing for tissue growth and renewal.
Food sensitivities may be caused or intensified by many factors such as stress, infections, over-eating, artificial preservatives, additives, moulds, pesticides, antibiotics, and environmental pollutants.
Our body mitigates these factors by producing IgG antibodies, which recognise the food as the pathogen, and proceed to fight it whenever we eat that type of food. IgG antibodies are the most common form of immunologic mediated food responses and often go undiagnosed, and untreated.
A food sensitivity reaction happens gradually and can be mild, unlike an allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis.
