TRE is based on the idea that stress, tension and trauma is both psychological and physical.
The exercises induce reflexive muscle vibrations that generally feel pleasant and soothing. After doing the exercises, many people report feelings of peace and well-being.

How does it work?
You will be guided through a series of easy stretches using the muscles of the lower body to build up a little shaking in the legs. Once the body is shaking, you lie on the floor, and encourage these natural vibrations to move through the body, without trying to control them. Most people enjoy the sensation of shaking and some report a physical or emotional release, without becoming overwhelmed by the process.
How long is a session?
A TRE session lasts 1 hour and is designed to train you into using the practice as a self-help tool. Working with a TRE provider for five sessions will equip you with the skills to practice independently throughout your life, continuously supporting and promoting personal health and wellness.

How does TRE work?
I came to TRE out of curiosity. I stayed for the pain relief and the general sense of calm each session brings. Kate is an excellent guide who explains the technique clearly and with the utmost sensitivity. Each session feels like a joint endeavour to discover something new about the profound ways TRE can improve our physical and emotional wellbeing.
